    YOUR IMPACT

     

    Building new functionalities within Trade reporting Platform to support all future global regulatory initiatives as well as migrating existing flows onto the new Platform. The system is being built using Enterprise Platform technologies.

     

    Projects include:

    • Building Reporting Platform Gateway that will interface with numerous upstream middle office systems.
    • The system consumes data from numerous sources enriches it and sends it external to the firm OLTP
    • On boarding new and existing reports onto the new platform thus reducing technical debt while moving forward enterprise strategy
    • Gain a comprehensive understanding of OTC derivatives across multiple asset classes ranging from high volume FX trades to complex Commodities, Credit, Equities and Interest Rate derivatives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

     

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Advanced programming skills in Java 
    • Experience in domain driven design 
    • Experience of using a test driven development approach and associated testing tools
    • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (we use Hadoop)
    • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and distributed algorithms, and designing for performance and resiliency
    • Experience of managing complexity in software
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills
    • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-through
    • Openness for acquiring new skills and learning new technologies

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience or a strong interest in financial products is a plus 
    • Experience in BPMN and user workflow based systems
    • Experience with JavaScript based web development e.g. Angular / ReactJS
    • Self-motivation to learn about new businesses and ownership of development projects and related support issues
    • Experience in leading and managing end to end projects in an agile team with multiple global stakeholders
