    RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Job Summary & Responsibilities 

    • Join a rapidly growing global team building the Goldman Sachs Digital Finance business – primarily our consumer deposits platform
    • Prevent, detect, and resolve all incidents on our consumer deposits platform and all related vendor touch points
    • Ensure the highest feasible platform uptime while managing upcoming releases 
    • Work closely with software engineers and DevOps engineers to understand underlying issues affecting the platform
    • Engage in enhancing the platform through automation and incident prevention across the tech stack
    • Be part of a large community of like-minded agile technologists looking to build Goldman Sachs global consumer banking footprint

     

    Basic Qualifications

    • A strong desire to disrupt the financial services industry and build cutting edge digital products for consumers
    • Experience with Software Development in a Linux environment, Shell scripting, Perl/Python 
    • Deep understanding of the Agile development methodology and DevOps tooling
    • Experience in instrumenting AppDynamics monitors and reporting on platform performance using Splunk
    • Experience with engineering incident prevention automation and automatic failover solutions
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in Production Engineering for the Finance and Tech industries 
    • Exceptional analytical skills, able to apply knowledge and experience in decision-making to arrive at creative and commercial solutions
    • Great communication skills – as daily coordination with our global team is essential
