As a member of the Platform Organization for the London office responsibilities will consist of a wide variety of tasks, ranging from day-to-day support over close interaction with all departments

The Executive Office Support team is responsible for providing on-site technical support for a variety of applications, systems and end user hardware for the firms most senior leaders. This includes infrastructure build-out, hardware provisioning, asset management, troubleshooting and on-going support on both desktop hardware & software components

Working in the London office will provide the opportunity to pick up technology knowledge from all areas present; including supporting the firm’s strategic initiatives, conferences and events throughout London and EMEA. Manage and build relationships with your counterparts globally




  • Provide technical support to VIP users
  • Ensure all production systems are fully operational during required office hours
  • Identify and resolve points of failure in production systems, escalating to other Goldman Sachs technical staff, or third party software vendors as necessary
  • Experience in working with multiple teams globally
  • Manage the lifecycle of all workplace equipment including procurement, scanning inventory, provisioning and disposal
  • Partner with engineering team to manage all workplace related projects including pilot testing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and office applications
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Market Data and trading systems
  • Experience supporting client / server based software applications
  • Fundamental hardware diagnostic and support skills
  • Experience in voice technology support including Cisco IPT, Voice recording, Voicemail and Video Conference
  • Excellent client service orientation, strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate in a timely manner
  • Similar Working experience in security firm is a plus
  • Continuously create, update, and publish documentation relating to existing and new procedures
  • Workplace hardware and software support including desktop, laptop, blackberry, IOS, Android, market data
  • Support Move, Adds and Changes
  • Provide support coverage between 07:30- 18:00 split across shifts, including some weekends.
  • Provide after hours and weekend support for VIP users, change activities and checkouts.
  • Required to occasionally physical lift and shift workplace hardware including PCs, Monitors and other equipment
  • Handle vendor management and invoice processing
  • Handle data copy requests



  • Bachelor degree in computer science related major
  • Fundamental networking skills, including TCP/IP, IP routing protocols.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and office applications
