Fast-paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment that offers the opportunity to provide advisory and client relationship management coverage for several of the client groups in the Federation divisions in EMEA. This role will allow for the individual to provide both analytic and talent management support in EMEA as well as the opportunity to both create and execute on people development priorities for divisions globally. Key elements of the role include the full spectrum of talent management processes (talent reviews, diversity strategy, performance management, promotions, leadership pipeline, manager excellence, compensation, people survey, organizational reviews and other annual processes).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFIL YOUR POTENTIAL

- Primary point of contact for the heads of the Compliance and Risk divisions in EMEA

- Participate in senior management meetings
- Partner with the businesses to deliver all HCM related services and tailor projects to fit their needs
- Advise clients in the talent management space
- Partner with senior leadership in the businesses to manage talent management processes such as compensation, performance reviews, mobility, etc.
- Create diversity strategy and plan and drive diversity initiatives forward
- People survey analysis and action plans
- Participate and drive people pillar activities regionally
- Reporting and Analytics     
- Regular management reporting e.g. new joiners, transfers, active recruits
- Provide monthly/quarterly and year-end metrics (i.e. attrition, diversity, maternity)
- Partner with regional functional HCM groups to manage day to day HCM needs for clients
- Work with Recruiting and managers for the hiring of experienced and entry-level individuals, focusing on issues such as compensation and on-boarding
- Manage relocation / GMS / migration related activity
- Global interaction
- Work with other divisionally aligned HCM BP team to provide seamless service to clients
- Input into global projects and talent management process strategy, as required
- Divisional and regional Federation Ad Hoc project work

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

- Strong academic record with qualification in Human Resources Management, Sociology, Psychology or a related discipline required

- Significant HR Business Partnering experience gained in a large investment banking environment with a track record of partnering with Compliance clients in particular

- Proficiency on all Microsoft applications required

- Knowledge and experience of using various HR systems (e.g. Taleo, PeopleSoft, Paychex etc.) required

- Experience of diversity initiatives, providing strategic HR advice and involvement with process improvement initiatives

- Must have the ability and experience to work in a dynamic global environment and aptitude to understand client’s business and goals  

- Talent management, promotions, employment relations and reporting experience required
- Strong project management skills with excellent execution ability required

- Experience in employment terminations, global mobility, people surveys, performance reviews, quartiling, compensation reviews, on-boarding, payroll and background checking required
- Client relationship management skills required,
- Experience partnering with experienced hire recruiting/campus hire teams
- Excellent written and oral communication, organisational and administrative skills required
- Must have the ability to work independently and in teams as well as ability to drive processes and decision-making
- Ability to develop and manage strong relationships across the firm and within HCM, including with senior leaders
- Must be a self-starter with enthusiastic approach to work, with flexibility and ability to multi-task
- Must be open and sensitive to cultural / global differences
- Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required
- Demonstrate integrity, sound judgment and discretion
