    Seeking to hire talent that has previously worked under a self-clearing / direct settlement bank that provides payment services. They should have experience working in Cash Management Operations with expertise across various payment schemes such as CHAPS, BACS, FPS, SEPA, T2 etc. and the operational processes surrounding the scheme requirements.

     

    The ideal candidate will play a key role in building our next generation capabilities in the payments space by working alongside the business and development teams to interpret scheme, operational process or regulatory requirements and solutions.

    Treasury Services is a sub division of the Operations Division. As a global, multi-faceted and cross-product sub division, our primary objectives are to: lead from the front in helping build new payments-centric businesses, while building scale and improving agility to adapt to a rapidly changing payment landscape; act as a first line of defence for control and governance to protect firms financial assets; and incorporate differentiated client service to be best in class.  Treasury Services is a growing subdivision globally, with regional presence in Singapore, Bengaluru, London, New Jersey, New York and Salt Lake City with all our offices working closely together as a global team.

    The sub division has a rare opportunity to support products and businesses ranging across existing and new business lines, multiple payment types, and multiple client types, including franchise/institutional, consumer and corporate cash management sectors.  We manage a wide range of complex processes, with members developing skills and competencies around cash management (payment controls, bank account management, settlements and reconciliations, claims), change management, regulatory requirements, and industry trends.

    HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    • Understand business needs, elicit, agree and document the requirements for payment schemes and processes surrounding them
    • Be solution orientated and work in in an agile environment to build our Payments strategy, including self-clear and 3rd party cash management services
    • Help design and establish appropriate payment functions globally to support the EMEA clearing processes including payment risk management, investigation and repair functions, and firm/customer funding flows
    • Work with the business to resolve cash settlement exceptions / issues and FX unwinds

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR


    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

     

    • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional and relevant payments and cash management experience
    • Solid, detailed understanding of payments scheme requirements i.e. CHAPS, BACS, FPS, Target 2, SEPA etc.
    • Proficient in payment messaging formats (ISO 20022 and 15022 standards) 
    • Proven analytical skills, problem solving ability, and a control mentality paired with meticulous attention to detail
