As part of the Financing Group within the Investment Banking Division, the Structured Finance Group works with clients to structure financings for specific assets, businesses and risks in the course of acquisition financing and balance sheet management. Some example products including catastrophe bonds, life securitization, film & entertainment financing, export credit agency financing, transportation-related structured financing, infrastructure financing, franchise royalty and intellectual property securitization, whole business securitization, auto loan securitization, student loan and credit card securitization and related areas.
Investment Banking Division expanded its footprint in Structured Finance providing global and local clients structured finance solutions across equity and debt for assets such as aircraft, ships/containers, railcars, toll roads, high speed rail, parking, ports, airports, transmission, etc. TT&I uses its industry knowledge, structuring expertise and Goldman Sachs, far reaching distribution capabilities (through the loan, bond, leverage finance, equity, derivatives, and private placement markets) to meet clients needs.
The Japan business has been sucessful in expanding our green bond solutions, providing clients with alternative solutions in financing for renewable energy.
Analysts are integral members of the team who serve our international clients and are actively involved in the origination, structuring and execution of various types of equity and debt financings.
They develop strong client relationships and new business generation skills, while focusing on the markets and applying their technical skills.
