    The Consumer and Investment Management Division includes Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), Private Wealth Management (PWM) and our Consumer business (Marcus by Goldman Sachs).     Fundamental Equity “FE” is seeking to add a highly motivated professional to its Client Portfolio Management team to focus on business strategy and product management. This individual will be responsible for working with FE Senior Management to drive new business initiatives in addition to communicating and reporting on FE’s investment platform to key stakeholders including clients, sales and GSAM divisional leadership.




    • Serve as a product management generalist across the GSAM’s FE platform, developing knowledge of our investment philosophy, process and product offerings
    • Serve as a product management specialist for GSAM FE’s China, Asia and REIT equity strategies by producing content such as marketing materials, market updates, research papers, commentaries and others
    • Work across product management teams and various other GSAM teams to create materials used for new business pitches to clients, portfolio reviews for existing clients, market outlooks, as well as presentations to senior management
    • Develop knowledge of industry trends in active management, the competitive landscape and the investment team’s capabilities to facilitate improved client experience and spearhead strategic initiatives to grow the business
    • Synthesize market and economic data along with FE’s company and industry views to develop content to be leveraged for media appearances including Bloomberg and CNBC as well as print interviews
    • Assist with tracking and creating reports on key business metrics including AUM, flows, revenues and competitor performance
    • Assist with developing agendas and materials for global forums with chief investment officers, client training exercises and internal training sessions for sales teams
    • Assist with ad hoc projects including technology initiatives to automate client reports and other client marketing materials


    • Knowledge of the investment management industry, portfolio management and GSAM
    • Knowledge of equity markets, macroeconomic concepts and corporate finance
    • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (English and Mandarin)
    • Must be detail-oriented, motivated, and driven with a strong work ethic
    • Ability to work and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced and team-oriented environment
    • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects and requests, tight deadlines, and working across different teams and time zones globally
    • Strong skills within the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel, as well as Bloomberg are required
    • Experience with Factset is preferred, but the ability to quickly become adept in using other software and systems is necessary
