    Team Description:

    The Global eCommodities Sales Group is a growth team focused on innovation in the commodities trading space. The team aims to capture electronic flow from existing franchise and non-traditional commodities customers electronically. The desk works closely with internal trading, sales, strategy, technology, developers, senior management, external clients, and exchanges seeking opportunities to grow the GS global electronic commodities footprint.  Product spectrum ranges across all commodities markets, client groups are:  hedge funds, asset managers, corporations, banks, trading houses, retail aggregators and beyond.  The eCommodities group is seeking a highly entrepreneurial analyst to join the team to help build the book of franchise customers in the US region.

     

    Principle Responsibilities:

    • Focus on increasing the distribution of our commodities trading platform to commodities client franchise
    • Continue to distribute the platform to internal GS sales teams to train them on using the new tool
    • Help determine what new functionality we need to build to facilitate more trading of commodities electronically
    • Work with clients and backoffice to ensure no downstream issues with client trades

                   

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Strong eCommodities/eFICC experience in Algos, Yield Optimisation, Data Analytics and product development
    • Strong client relationships and a proven track record
    • Commodities market knowledge  
    • Strong attention to detail  

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • eFI/eFX experience is a plus
    • Voice sales experience is a plus
    • Fluency in Asian languages preferred
