The FX Enterprise Solutions Strats team delivers solutions to our clients that need to systematically trade currencies or hedge FX exposure. This requires leveraging a diverse skillset across Quantitative, Engineering, and Business disciplines, with the ultimate goal of delivering cutting edge client products. You will also customize transactions to meet client needs and work in a close globally connected team centric environment. You will work directly with clients in collaboration with your Sales colleagues. Throughout the Securities Division, strategists are using quantitative and technological techniques to solve complex business problems. As a Sales Strategist, you will play an integral role on the trading floor and work directly with clients to create cutting-edge solutions by leveraging technology and market insight.
Your overall responsibilities will be to help drive and grow the Systematic Overlay business. These responsibilities will fall within two main categories: Client Solutioning and Product Development.
You will collaborate with the Sales franchise spanning a variety of teams within GS to identify opportunities and engage in pitching the offering to prospective clients. The business requires a consultative approach, therefore the candidate will be required to develop an in-depth understanding of the FX markets, GS platform and client needs. The role will include daily interactions with clients on the phone and in-person.
You will also be engaged in product development by owning and managing specific initiatives to ensure successful delivery as well as by collaborating with several different internal groups. Whether these development projects are new ideas or based on client requests, the aim is to continuously keep improving the platform. The work requires a solid understanding of various different processes as well as interacting with internal and external infrastructure, which sometimes require (basic) coding skills.
