    1. YOUR IMPACT

    Business Objects &Tableau Developer in Human Capital Management (HCM) require knowledge of information technology and computational analysis typically acquired in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.

    As a member of the Reporting & Metrics team in HCM, the role will require you to interface with HCM business to determine reporting requirements and create/modify reports in Business Objects and/or Tableau. Design reporting platforms for HCM functions like Talent Reporting, Goldman Sachs University, Performance Reviews and Headcount. Play a role of Reporting Architect & Data Scientist in order to build & optimize reporting across various HR systems. Provide support on the Headcount, Attrition, Compensation, Talent processes for Goldman Sachs globally by building/maintaining reports and reporting platforms. Manage data feed flow to HCM systems used by GS and to other downstream applications. Coordinate full project lifecycles and ensure successful completion of the various phases including due diligence and scoping, use case definition, functional design specification, development, testing using functional and operational test cases, production roll-out and user training.

    The Reporting & Metrics team supports all aspects of the Human Capital Management (HCM) division’s reporting which spans across headcount, attrition, compensation, recruiting, learning and talent data. The team is responsible for BO report development, BO universe management as well as operational reporting.

    The Reporting Automation & Design team is part of Reporting & Metrics which leverages various technology platforms and HCM data to support talent management processes, mitigate workforce risk, and evolve operational strategy.  Through the coordinated expansion of reporting, analytics and technology capabilities across the division, Reporting Automation & Design develops data-backed solutions that empower HCM to recruit, develop, and reward the people of Goldman Sachs.  The team is located across the globe including New York/New Jersey, Salt Lake City, Warsaw, London and Bengaluru. 

    • HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

    Role Responsibilities

    • Build Webi Reports using XI 4.1 according to business requirements.
    • Modifying Business Objects universes and administering user access
    • Build Tableau Dashboards.
    • Build Alteryx workflows for data testing, transformations and automation
    • Interaction with the various functions within HCM to gather report requirements
    1. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

    Basic Qualifications

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
    • Extensive knowledge and experience in Business Objects Developer suite:
      • 3+ Years - Implementing Business Objects reporting solutions using Web Intelligence Rich Client, Web Intelligence, InfoView
      • 3+ Years - Business Objects Designer, CMC
      • 2+ Years - Tableau
    • Strong project manager who is highly organized with excellent attention to detail, follows through, holds task owners accountable, works effectively to deadlines, works well both independently and in a team environment
    • Experience working with Alteryx, Python & R Studio is a plus
    • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, driving consensus and influencing outcomes
    • High level of maturity and demonstrated ability to manage confidential information
    • Attention to detail – highly organized with excellent follow-through and delivery

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Experience developing solutions for Human Resources
    • Knowledge of both relational and dimensional data modeling preferred
    • Results-oriented -- ability to balance multiple, time-sensitive projects while maintaining a longer term, strategic focus
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
