    What We Do

    Our structuring team leads development of new client platforms and facilitates bespoke client transactions by leveraging a broad legal, regulatory, funding, accounting, tax and institutional knowledge base. With reach across all Equities’ business lines, we work directly with sales and trading and even clients to structure transactions and financial products to meet the needs of our clients.  In addition, we partner with key stakeholders throughout the firm to adapt to ever-evolving regulatory constraints and market practices, and identify places to optimize our existing businesses.

     

    Your Impact

    In turn, members of our team develop a diverse book of business across multiple product lines, with broad exposure to the firm’s global client base.  Eqs Structuring work out of the New York, London and Hong Kong offices with clients in the US, EMEA, and Asia.

     

    Who We Look For

    Eqs Structuring is looking for a VP to join our structuring team in Japan.  As a strategic overlay to the broader Equities franchise, Eqs Structuring grow the firm’s business through recognizing and monetizing market trends, capitalizing on synergies across business lines and executing key division-wide initiatives.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Create strong partnerships with sales, trading and clients to facilitate providing cross product solutions
    • Manage aspects of bespoke or complex transaction execution, including trade negotiation and coordination across various Federation teams
    • Prepare marketing materials and coordinate trade pricing
    • Prepare transaction memos and presentations; assist with new product memos
    • Develop accounting, legal, regulatory, bankruptcy and other expertise necessary to develop, optimize and market products
