Do you think that computer algorithms can outperform market benchmarks? In Systematic Trading Strategies (STS) group we believe they can.
We start by distilling academic papers in this area to create automated algorithms that are designed to achieve a profitable returns by investing in carefully selected set of assets on the market.
This has some similarities to the hedge funds, but we can operate at lower cost, using more objective signals and ultimately making the investment process much more transparent.

STS group is a part of Technology department which is the heart of our multi-billion dollar business. Our engineers develop low latency, scalable, and resilient solutions which drive global equities sales and trading at Goldman Sachs.
We are looking for a technical individual to join our new Warsaw engineering team to focus on building our client reporting and analytics platform. The developers have ownership of the full SDLC of the platform including end-client delivery.


Strategic development - Driving the business towards automation and client self-service through innovation and product development.
Client delivery – Implementing complex/bespoke client analytics in support of new business/revenue opportunities.
Support – Working as a team to ensuring the continuous, accurate, timely delivery of sensitive client reporting.

  • Solid professional software development experience (exact programming language is of lesser importance)
  • Ability to work in a very complex environment with many stakeholders and various technologies
  • Very rigid architectural and design skills that allow for building scalable solutions which incorporate different reporting requirements in one aligned platform
  • Ability to bring innovation and progress by integrating new technologies into current technology software stack.
  • Good analytical skills and clear understanding of algorithms and data structures
    Prior knowledge of finance is not required but is an advantage

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of derivatives products and derivatives business
  • Experience in functional / scripted programming
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies
  • Experience with MongoDB
