    Your Impact

    Fraud engineering brings together the latest in machine learning and fraud prevention technology to help protect consumers and Goldman Sachs from fraudulent behavior. The team works to identify when fraud has taken place in real time and minimize its impact to our stakeholders, learn from previous instances of fraud and proactively identify and stop fraud before it happens. You will work collaboratively with our global technology team and partners on financial products impacting millions of users.



    • Collaborate with globally-located team to build fraud prevention tools
    • Building, documenting and scaling technical platforms with many different stakeholders views
    • Customer-centric product intuition, with experience predicting and building strategic plans to drive continuous improvements

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 4+ years with micro-services design, Java and machine learning
    • B.S. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
    • Experience building platforms in a cloud-first pattern with a view for high availability and throughput
    • Ability to learn, understand and internalize existing banking, risk and servicing systems and building related roadmaps to address KPI’s
    • Experience building transactional systems and strong understanding of software architecture
    • Ability to build partnerships with product heads and executive level stakeholders
    • Comfort with agile operating model

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, Splunk, and Graph Databases
    • Experience with e-commerce payments or fraud
    • Experience with AWS
    • Experience building products from ideation to delivery
