RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the EMEA Heads of Benefits & Wellness to deliver EMEA Benefits & Wellness Strategy, Governance and Operations including:

 

STRATEGY

  • Support development of EMEA Benefit & Wellness strategy to help ensure innovation and that plan/programme design maximises the employee experience and associated outcomes
  • Help ensure strategy is aligned to business requirements
  • Support policy/programme reviews on ongoing basis ensuring critical review, compliance with internal requirements as well local regulation and legislation including:
    • Preventative health
    • Mental Health & Resilience
    • Counselling & life management programmes
    • Pension, benefit and risk benefits
  • Lead and/or support EMEA and cross regional benefit & wellness projects to agreed timelines
  • Focus on integration of on-site services with health benefit plans to deliver an efficient service and enhanced client experience
  • Proactively stay abreast of industry best practice and competitor activity

GOVERNANCE:

  • Ensure compliance of all benefit & wellness programmes in line with internal policy and local regulation and legislation
  • Support UK Healthcare Trust governance and UK Healthcare Trustee Board
  • Ensure EMEA benefit & Wellness programmes operate within the global governance framework
  • Support and manage internal benefits & wellness governance ensuring alignment to internal policy, e.g. Records Management
  • Seeking relevant approval to! all benefit & wellness programme/policy changes 

OPERATIONS:

  • Support day-to-day operation of the UK Healthcare Trust
  • Support the effective delivery of EMEA benefits & wellness administration processes via third party administrators including payroll files, tax data and vendor enrolment transactions. Identify and implement ongoing opportunities to automate processes and gain efficiencies across all EMEA locations
  • Support and management of vendor service providers, including on-site health, fitness and childcare vendors in London (Bupa, Nuffield Health and Bright Horizons) including budget, performance and innovation
  • Deliver benefits and wellness presentations to employees across the firm through new hire orientation, divisional and leadership sessions
  • Managing vendors contracts, ensuring compliance in local jurisdictions, account management, programme development and delivery while leveraging opportunities to increase the quality of offerings
  • Manage within set budgets for relevant benefit & wellness work/initiatives across EMEA, working with both local and global teams to address questions, prepare budgets, and present analyses / reporting
  • Liaise and partner with internal stakeholders, e.g. Tax, Legal, Finance, D&I, Executive Office, CSRE and OGS on new initiatives and programmes reviews. Also facilities management e.g. cleaning, maintenance 

OTHER:

  • Drafting internal and external communications for benefit & wellness purposes and to position the firm as an employer of choice
  • Provide advisory service to the business including postings, presentations and other stakeholder management documentation
  • Support and advice on merger, acquisition and sale activity as relates to benefits policies

​SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of EMEA Benefits & Wellness experience with focus on Healthcare, risk, pensions, Wellness strategy, initiatives, programming and voluntary benefits and working knowledge of EMEA benefits & wellness legislation
  • Strong project management and organization skills with superior attention to detail
  • Commercial/Financial acumen with ability to understand budget processes, vendor commercial structures and financial reconciliations/reporting
  • Results-oriented; ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, take initiative and ability to work intensely towards extremely challenging goals
  • Ability to develop relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Marketing skills - strong ability to market programme and services to target audiences within corporate environment
  • Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal relationship management skills (written and oral)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to perform detailed analysis of problems and identify resolutions; understands when and how to escalate issues to manage risk
  • Innovative approach with ability and appetite to challenge existing policies and processes
  • Creative strength to transform abstract ideas into tangible actions/products
  • Teamwork - ability to function well as part of a team in a fast paced environment that demands energy and creativity
  • Self-starting and enthusiastic in approach to work. Able to drive processes and decision making
  • Strong understanding of finance and metrics management and reporting
  • Advanced computer literacy: Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills a requirement
