Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to deliver banking, sales and trading and asset management capabilities to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and control to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and its reputation. For every trade agreed, every new product launched or market entered, every transaction completed, it is Operations that develops the processes and controls that makes business flow.

 

The Control Organization is responsible for minimising risk at all times, identifying and resolving erroneous trading positions, capturing unmatched trades and performing the reconciliation of risk books.  The team cooperates with Controls groups in other regions and also communicates with trading desk, asset servicing and middle office on a daily basis.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

  • You will become a key line of defence for businesses by quickly identifying and resolving issues
  • Ensure you gain a comprehensive understanding of the trade flows across business lines and asset classes through interaction with trading, sales, operations and technology.
  • Display your attention to detail, high standards and a keen interesting in solving problems
  • You will develop to become a trusted partner to the revenue division in launching and maintaining new trade flows
  • Demonstrate your willingness to identify opportunities to improve processes
  • Get involved in Business Intelligence and process improvement projects and lead them using capabilities from the Intelligent Automation support team in Warsaw
  • Show your impact both in a control function across business lines and specialize in a support role for the cash and stock products businesses
  • You will develop and build relationships across the firm to ensure an inclusive and strategic approach to projects and challenges

 

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of equities products
  • Understanding of the lifecycle of trade processing in the equities securities markets

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in a middle office, trade support or reconciliation environment
  • Experience in an Investment Bank or Asset Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders
  • Proven organization, prioritization and risk management capabilities
  • Track record of designing, maintaining and improving controls
