 Job Summary & Responsibilities

  • Work with local business leadership and US stakeholders to define user experience priorities, design goals and frameworks supporting a digital oriented multi-channel approach
  • Monitor and optimise the performance of the Marcus UK digital assets, including website, app and internal digital systems
  • Implement and utilize conversion rate optimisation (CRO) tools to enhance customer experiences
  • Work with Technology teams to prioritize, schedule and implement changes to digital content and functionality; and monitor and report on the impact of changes
  • Deliver a best in class end to end user experience across digital channels (expected to be mobile first, responsive design)
  • Work with Marketing team and acquisition channel partners to optimise and customise application journeys and funnels to maximise effectiveness of the digital channel
  • Maintain a full understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory issues
  • Work with other team members to ensure an omni-channel approach to marketing and operations
  • Implement and continuously improve mobile app experiences for our customers, using user research to define and deliver new features
  • Manage relationship with digital partners and vendors
  • Ongoing interaction with the data analytics team to define and maintain a MI dashboard to inform CRO activity
  • Maintain awareness of; and recommend and implement relevant innovations in digital marketing channels
  • Work in complex, cross functional teams with strong influence, communication and ability to incorporate the contributions, objectives and constraints of all into a highly user experience centric function
  • Provide both highly analytical and creative ideas to test, optimize and improve conversion
  • Ensure that designs deliver an appropriate balance of optimizing business objectives & user engagement.


  • Proven ability to drive meaningful business growth through digital experience
  • Fluency in leading edge design and user experience tools and principles including responsive design, content marketing, mobile first interaction design, CRO and optimizing websites to improve natural listing performance with search engines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in agile business and technology development structure
  • Self-directed team player, ability to drive high performance and work independently or in a team-oriented and fast paced environment
  • You are an innovator with a deep understanding of digital channels, a track record of innovation and a focus on increasing sales while decreasing cost per acquisition
  • Experience developing rapid prototypes
  • Strong familiarity with other digital marketing technologies such as social media, search, web analytics and e-commerce
  • In-depth knowledge in iOS and/or Android mobile and tablet platforms
  • Demonstrated client service orientation
  • Experience working in agile business and technology development structure ​

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, supported by relevant qualifications in digital design & implementation
  • 3+ Years of experience required in roles of increasing responsibility.
  • Prior experience of managing & optimizing websites, ideally in retail financial services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services preferred
  • Leadership experience in a startup environment
