RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

UK Analytics and Insights Lead - Associate

 

Job Summary & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analysing digital performance and generating actionable insights that drive the growth of our consumer products.
  • Maximise the efficiency of our sales funnel, media spend and improve our understanding of our customers.
  • Working with the Product & Marketing Managers, define and own the product success metrics and KPIs, and ensure product launches, changes and new features are accurately measured.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting on agreed customer and business KPIs as well as the creation of a prioritized long-term performance roadmap of initiatives which drive improvements in the KPIs.
  • Work with 3rd party agencies to track and report on the progress and outcome of online & offline marketing campaigns, making recommendations to improve customer experience, conversion or journey performance. Ability to identify customer problems and translate them in to quantifiable benefits.
  • Solid knowledge of reporting platforms and an understanding of a product and marketing architecture to ensure data is mined, analysed and actioned accordingly.
  • Ability to present performance data in compelling ways which inspire others to take action.
  • Play an important role to develop global methodologies and best practice, sharing knowledge and insights across the wider business. Drive an adoption of the available tools with key stakeholders, acting as SME to help users build competency and self-serve.
  • Providing the ability for teams across the business to be able to self-serve by generating automated reports, team dashboards and ongoing training and support.

Skills

  • Able to balance customer and business performance outcomes, prioritizing accordingly
  • Experienced in web analytics roles and able to demonstrate past success and impact, with outstanding analytical skills to interpret data from multiple sources to identify opportunities.
  • Comprehensive hands-on performance marketing experience (channels to include PPC, SEO, Social Media, Digital PR, Email, Affiliate marketing) to enable easily digestible mapping of campaign performance.
  • Deep understanding of how the data for reports is sourced and aggregated.
  • Working knowledge of analytics platforms including tag management solutions.
  • Flexible and comfortable using a range of tools and techniques.
  • Clear communicator, confident to present recommendations to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Strong collaborator, focused on customer and business outcomes.
  • Should be a self-starter with experience of working in a direct to consumer business.

Basic Qualifications

  • Expert user of Adobe Marketing & Analytics tools
  • Excel and MS Office applications
  • 4+ years’ experience of web analytics and optimization, including data visualization tools (eg Tableau) in an online, retail, direct to consumer environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services preferred
  • Experience in a startup environment
  • Session replay and heatmap tools (eg, Session Cam, Crazy Egg)
