RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

The Global Markets Division is looking for a Credit trading Desk Analyst to join our on-shore China team as part of our strategic growth in the region. This person will sit closely with our Fixed Income sales and traders in Shanghai.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor on-shore China credits, in particular LGFV and High Yield markets
  • Independently able to conduct deep dive credit analysis on single or multiple credit names
  • Support off-shore credit analysts and team in USD credit markets
  • Liaise with clients to present market content and trade ideas
  • Work closely with sales and trading divisions and encourage knowledge cross sharing

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-7 years of relevant Credit Analysis background in sell or buy side
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record 
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and strong understanding of capital structure
  • Client-focused with strategic, long term mind-set
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Great attention to detail, ability to multi-task
  • Solid work ethics and high levels of motivation
  • Strong team player
