RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

We are looking for an Associate or Vice President to join our Equity Research team. Principal responsibilities include:

  • Be responsible for the specific analysis of individual companies and their equities within the Internet sector
  • Working on industry/sector-specific projects, analyzing market share, macro trend, cross company analysis and assessing new/emerging businesses models
  • Produce regular reports summarizing findings and predictions, as well as responsibility for the sector news flow and contributing to overall sector views/pieces
  • Build and maintaining company financial forecast and valuation models
  • Assisting analysts in writing research on industry/companies under coverage, and working closely with Content Management Group to ensure timely publication of research reports
  • Responding to requests from clients, sales and traders
  • Providing support to single stock research analysts, develop and maintain own individual stock coverage.
  • Building, maintaining and updating company forecast and valuation models
  • Analyzing market share, macro trend, and cross company and sub sector data analysis
  • Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members to build technical and soft skills

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree
  • Minimum of 3 years (for Associates) and minimum of 5 years (for Vice President) relevant work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Strong ability to perform financial statement, business and valuation analysis
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and creative skills 
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Ability to work/conduct independently and with limited supervision 
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical and organizational skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong understanding of the China Internet industry
  • Comparable/relevant business/financial/consulting experience preferred
  • Natural curiosity, analytical, critical and logical thinking
  • Demonstrated ability to think laterally and exercise good judgment
  • Self-starter attitude with high level of enthusiasm for equity research
