The Web Platform team within Developer Experience is responsible for building out a Managed Web platform for Goldman Sachs. We architect and implement Web publishing, hosting, cataloging, management and analytics services using custom built components, industry frameworks for modern web development such as JAMstack. As a developer on this team, you will be an essential part of this new and exciting initiative to build the “financial cloud”. You will enable new businesses and reshape evolving ones. Responsibilities and Qualifications As part of our global Web Platform team you will work on various components as a Software Engineer. Your role includes specification, development, and the testing and rollout of new features. You are expected to contribute to the vision, understand our product roadmap, integrate business value with experience, and contribute to building an engineering culture within the team. We expect the successful candidate to deliver high quality software and to be passionate about software engineering. New hire will join the Equity Client FIX Integration team in London which is responsible for providing FIX connectivity for the Goldman Sachs Electronic Trading client base. The team specifically focuses on the technical aspects of onboarding clients using the FIX Protocol to trade electronically on all Equity products and markets offered by GS. The range of client offerings over FIX include single shares and program trading via SOR, algorithmic and high touch channels.   The candidate will work closely with stakeholders from the initial request, gathering requirements, evaluating specifications, coordinating testing, managing the change process and implementing production setup including client specific rules. Testing includes certification of new clients as well as validating new products for existing clients. The team also provide expertise and support on any FIX related inquiries to the relevant business and application teams.
