Who We Look For The Prime Services Risk team cover multiple facets of Risk Management associated with Margin Financing and Clearing services, and our engineers design, develop and run a number of critical platforms within this context. We are open to considering requests for flexible working The Portfolio Reconciliation and Valuations Team falls under the broader MCVO (Margin, Collateral and Valuations business unit) within Securities Division Operations.  Portfolio Reconciliation and Valuations is responsible for ensuring the reconciliation of positions is accurate and any discrepancy resolved in a timely manner. The team manages a variety of products (OTC derivatives) and is responsible for ensuring clients and 3rd party reconciliation tools receive their reports on a timely fashion according to their requirements. Trade Management is independent from the Portfolio Managers and Traders with the capability to monitor and report on the status of a trade during its "life cycle". - Client Management Group has accountability for a number of key areas within GSAM Operations such as Account Management, Billing, Asset Servicing, Data Control, and Relationship Management as well as support for other specialised areas within GSAM. - Risk Management (RM) team has a primary responsibility to provide a rigorous framework that enables future activity to take place in a consistent and controlled manner. This involves providing a comprehensive and structured understanding of business activity, volatility and project opportunity / threat as well as providing risk mitigation and prevention services and optimising operation efficiency. - Fund Administration (FA) has primary responsibility for Net Asset Value and Portfolio Accounting as well as providing high quality Fund Administration services for the client funds administered. This involves daily trade date cash and position reconciliations as well as daily settle date position reconciliations, between the client and Prime Broker. In addition, they will undertake monthly price and position reconciliations between the Client, Prime Broker, and GSAS. In this process they work closely with, and in support of, Fund Accountants. There are eight Goldman Sachs Control Rooms globally (including Jersey City, Salt Lake City, London, Warsaw, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney and Bengaluru).   The Control Room is primarily responsible for preserving the integrity of the Firm’s information barriers by monitoring and controlling the flow of confidential information between the Firm’s advisory side businesses (e.g., Investment Banking and Merchant Banking) and public side businesses (e.g., Sales, Trading, Research, and Investment Management).
